White wines from northern Italy

Azienda Agricola Cornarea - Roero Arneis DOCG
The Arneis grape has chosen the Roero as its home. Its colour, with its slight suggestion of straw-yellow, introduces the light aroma of flowers and fresh fruit that is released in the glass and then comes to life again in its delicate, dry taste which leaves a highly agreeable trace of almonds on the palate. This is a highly versatile wine, which, due to its structure, accompanies magnificently horsd'oeuvres (hot and cold) and tasty first course (risottos and soups), though it does not disdain cheeses, especially if they are semimature.
Azienda Agricola Cornarea - André vino da tavola
From grapes Arneis with late vintage, André is fermented in barriques of French oak. Wine of great structure; it has a pale yellow colour with perfume of flowers of tiglio and peach. The taste is soft, complex, with an oak indication just pronounced. You magnificently combines with fried fish and red meats, as well as cheeses.

Azienda Agricola Cornarea - Tarasco Passito di Arneis 37,5 cl
The ageing of Tarasco takes place in 225 l allier barriques, and it lasts three or more years. Tarasco is a very long-lasting passito. When young, it is intensely straw-yellow, tending to gold, but as the years pass its colour softens, producing intense golden reflections. lts aroma recalls toasted hazelnuts, walnuts hulis, honey, quince jam and lilies, while its flavour shows great body and elegance; it is full and gentle, with unbeatable punch and vigour.
La Ghibellina - Gavi del Comune di Gavi DOCG “Mainin”
Dry, fresh and well balanced; straw yellow with greenish highlights, it is characterized by a fresh bouquet reminiscent of white flowers and fresh fruit. Excellent as an aperitif, it also goes well with fish and poultry.
Viticoltori Tommasi - Bianco di Custoza DOC Cru “Bosco del Gal”
We selected the vineyard “Bosco del Gal” for the distinctive and characteristic personality of its grapes. The parcel has particular value because of the exceptional composition of its glacial soil. Moon yellow, with a very fruity and full of floral flavours fragrance, its taste fresh and fruity makes this wine excellent with fish salads, white meat and risotti.
Another great white wine made from grapes grown on vineyards at different altitudes. Following the off-the-skins fermentation in stainless steel at a temperature of no higher than 17°C., the wine is cooled down to 7°C, and stored in the same tanks on its lees for more than six months. Wine of great elegance in which Chardonnay’s extraordinary varietal properties are highlighted. Light straw yellow, with delicate greenish undertones. Very intense, expansive bouquet that lingers on the nose, showing flowers and fresh fruit. Round and smooth on the palate, with a nicely luscious, dry taste and good body.
Only a limited quantity is produced, fermenting 100% Chardonnay grapes off the skins at a low temperature in new tonneaux made of French oak. Batonnage helps to obtain the beneficial effects of the wine staying in contact with its lees. Straw-yellow colour with greenish nuances. Long, intense and complex bouquet; inviting fruit, with a touch of vanilla; savoury and nicely round.
